Dr. HollyJacobson, DNP, PMHNP-BC






Dr. Jacobson is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is Board-Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Jacobson combines expertise with compassionate, personalized care. Utilizing evidence-based practices with medication and non-pharmacologic approaches—including psychotherapy—speeds recovery, and patients feel better faster. Dr. Jacobson’s treatment process is a two-way collaboration based on empathy and judgment-free care in a tailored mental health wellness plan. She endeavors to make a difference in patients’ lives by employing expertise combined with self-care techniques, parenting skills, mindfulness, and imparting hope.







She sees patients across the lifespan, including adolescents as young as 13 years of age, adults, and seniors. Her practice specialties include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, attention hyperactivity deficit disorder, autism-related behavioral problems, insomnia, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorders.







Dr. Jacobson is passionate about advancing the importance of self-care and removing the stigma around mental healthcare. In addition to providing medication management, she uses cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing for psychotherapeutic techniques using a strength-based, solution-focused approach. Holly obtained her Bachelor of Science at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, her Master of Science from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and her Doctor of Science from beautiful Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her career encompasses over twenty-four years working in emergency medicine, intensive care, pain management, gastroenterology, and psychiatry.
